What started out as careless banter over a few wets at Glastonbury, is now a daunting reality for a group of four friends from the West Country, two of whom are former Commandos:
“LET’S ROW ACROSS THE ATLANTIC OCEAN!”...

THE CHARITY
Invictus Trust is a young people’s mental health charity, based in Cornwall. Suicide continues to be a major cause of death in young adults and has no boundaries that regard race, colour or demographic. Investment in Mental health support is limited, undervalued and dismissed as unnecessary by many and yet mental health issues are increasingly evident in young people. The aim of our row is to provides funds for a new counselling service for 11 – 21 year olds.
Paul Hayes - "The race is unassisted. We must take all our food, make our own water, and carry all the required kit and equipment while battling 40ft waves, sleep deprivation, and the open ocean environment. We will all be leaning on the Commando spirit of Courage, Determination, Unselfishness and Cheerfulness to get the job done."
This is one serious challenge... Lets dig deep and DONATE NOW!
A team of 3 Veteran Royal Marine cyclists and 3 civvies embarked on the iconic Lands End to John O'Groats 1000 mile route over 10 consecutive days. Led by former 42Cdo Royal Marine Martin 'Bogey' Knights raised funds and awareness along the way for The Royal Marines Charity, Kidney Care UK and Dementia UK.
Absolute turbo hoofing effort and commando spirit was held by all apart from the aged dodgy knees and saddle sores I'm sure the wets will be in full swing this evening.
Upto £10,000 so far has been raised for these amazing charities and the doors are still open on fundraising so if you haven't already done so, get donating to these well deserved charities....
A strong team of 12 Royal Marine Veterans, all over the age of 45, took on a marathon distance speed march around the streets of London.
The aim of the whole team is to raise awareness, increase the understanding of the mental health challenges facing many of our veteran community, and also to raise much needed funds for RMA – The Royal Marines Charity.
A turbo hoofing time and effort was had by all and a whopping £65,000 has been raised to date. If you've not donated theres still time as those doors are still open.

Solace will soon be a place for relaxation, recharging and a time to connect with friendships new and old.
At times in life we all seek some Solace, and the key is right before us thanks to Matt & Jo.
Andrew P. Weston is not only a 40 Cdo Royal Marines Veteran but also a best-selling Science Fiction author too !
His latest pursuit, that of writing action-adventure thrillers – has only just begun, as is his quest to create a story that blends the very best elements of Tom Clancy with Robert Ludlum.
Hopefully, Red Right Hand will prove a good start in that endeavour.
So what is Red Right Hand all about...
Connor MacGregor is a man on a mission. And with good reason.
On the very day he retires from the Royal Marines, his wife and only child are murdered by a terrorist bomber, setting off a chain of events that can only end in bloodshed and death. For while the police and security services are hampered by lawful procedures and protocol, MacGregor has his own way of doing things.
Yes, the red right hand of vengeance is poised to strike, and heaven help anyone who gets in MacGregor’s way.
